Will Get File Size work with Mozilla Firefox?

No, Get File Size does not work with Mozilla Firefox, sorry.

Why do I see "N/A" instead of the file size or its modification date?

The information about a file is provided by the web server where the file is located. If the server doesn't want to provide the file size or its modification date, there's no way to get it otherwise. Fortunately, 99% of web sites do provide this information.

Why do I get "Incorrect link" or "..link points to a script" sometimes?

You've right-clicked an object that doesn't reference any file or clicked a link that executes a script.

How do I add Get File Size to the Opera context menu?

Find standard_menu.ini file, add the following string to the [Link Popup Menu] and the [Image Link Popup Menu] sections:

Item, "Get File Size"=Copy link & Execute Program,"insert here path to GetFileSize.exe","/url:%c"

Why does Get File Size say "Error, click the Details button"?

The file you've clicked is most probably unavailable for some reason. Try to download it in Internet Explorer, most likely you will get an error there too.

Does Get File Size support command line?

Yes. Use the following syntax to start the program from the command line:
GetFileSize.exe /url:. For instance: GetFileSize.exe /url:http://hello.com/file.exe

What is "Response time" and how precise is this value?

For HTTP and HTTPS protocols, response time is the time it takes for the program to send request headers and receive response headers from a server. For FTP, response time is the time it takes for the program to connect to a FTP server. Note that this value does not take into account software overheads, so the real response time is always a bit less than the one shown.

I use an IE-based browser and it doesn't allow me to add the Get File Size item to its Tools menu. What can I do about this?

You can put the shortcut to Get File Size on the Links toolbar: slide the newly created shortcut into the Start button, then into the Favorites folder, and further into its Links subfolder.

What are the hotkeys for the Download and Close buttons?

Download: Alt + D. Close: Esc.
